Here, we don’t really celebrate Halloween as a big holiday, but our weekend was still very special because we celebrated my younger daughter’s 15th birthday. 🥰 (I’ll share a little photo of our birthday girl at the end of this email!)
This weekend also holds a deeper meaning for us. In my country, we honor the Memory of the Departed — a quiet, beautiful tradition when families visit cemeteries, light candles, and remember loved ones who have passed away. 🕯️
We went to light candles for our dear ones — my grandparents, uncles, aunts, and my father. Later, we gathered at my mom’s house with my sister and our families, shared memories, and spent a lovely evening together. These are moments I always treasure deeply — full of warmth, connection, and love. ❤️
There’s something truly special about these late-autumn days — the air feels still, yet full of emotion. 🍂
