A few days ago, we packed away our above-ground pool for the year. And somehow, that always feels like the moment when summer is really beginning to say goodbye at our house.
The days can still be warm and sunny, but the signs of a new season are suddenly everywhere — apples are ripening, the colors in nature are slowly changing, evenings feel a little different, and autumn is quietly finding its way in.
I love this little in-between time. Summer isn't quite gone, but fall is already beginning to appear. And that's exactly the feeling I wanted to capture in this month's Year Of Memories.
